CAMERON CARTER-VICKERS could make up part of a deal to see Southhampton defender Tino Livramento move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs are keen to add the former Chelsea right back to their side and are weighing up their options for the defender.

The Lilywhites could strike a deal with Southhampton if a player exchange makes up part of the deal.

Tottenham blogger, John Wenham has looked to his clubs’ options and has given an insight as to what the club may look to do, speaking to Football Insider, he claimed;

“Various outlets are reporting Cameron Carter-Vickers is of interest to some clubs owing to his form at Celtic.

“Is there a way we could offer him as a makeweight in the summer?

“It might work out, giving them a defender as they are losing a defender.

“Maybe something can be done there.”

Over the past few weeks, many outlets have reported that several English Premier League clubs consider approaching Cameron Carter-Vickers.

The defender has been in tremendous form for Celtic this season after joining the Parkhead club on deadline day.

Of course, the Hoops have the option-to-buy the defender. However, he may wish to hold off and hope a Premier League team do offer him a contract.

Getting guaranteed Champions League group stage action next season could influence the American’s decision, with many of the EPL sides that have registered interest in him unlikely to be in Europe’s elite competition after the summer.
