SCOTT BROWN’s fate is in the hands of the SFA after football’s governing body cited the Celtic captain with a charge relating to his actions in the Glasgow Derby nearly a week after the game had taken place.

The game will forever be remembered for Scott Brown single handily mentally dismantling his opponents by getting into their heads. However, the big challenge for the SFA is proving Scott did anything wrong.

The charge reads Brown ‘Did not act in the best interests of association football’ – how’s that for an accusation! The vague and undescriptive nature of the charge means Celtic are in a strong position to see Scott Brown walk away with nothing but a day out at Hampden.

As we all know the SFA aren’t known for their smart decisions and while the midfielder did nothing in the game which should remotely need investigating, it’s entirely possible they charge him anyway.

If the SFA do decide to charge Brown, he would likely miss the next two Celtic games.
