SCOTT BROWN reached the threshold for yellow cards with his booking against Kilmarnock at the weekend.

This means the Celtic captain will be unavailable for selection in Celtic’s next SPFL game which will take place later this month against St Johnstone.

Broony is free to play in the game this weekend against Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup and can also take his place against Zenit.

However, with so many injuries to key payers in the squad, the news that Celtic will be without their captain for their next SPFL game is more of a problem than usual.

With a whole squad of talent out injured and Broony out, it will be up to the midfielders we have to fill the void.

  1. As Broony said that fecking lickspittle levein has done his job, lets see if it will keep his wee players safe when they come up against half decent midfielders in the rest of the season. Bottom six too good for that mob.
