Celtic winger Sead Haksabanovic came off the bench for the last half-hour in a hugely disappointing goalless draw for Celtic on Saturday afternoon.

The Montenegrin international has yet to start under new manager Brendan Rodgers and, this morning, has let his thoughts be known.

On Instagram, the winger posted a picture of himself being led off the pitch, in black and white, with the caption, “If they don’t see your value maybe you’re not at the right place”.

This a scathing message from the 24-year-old, and one can only imagine this is aimed at the club and Rodgers. With this post, all points towards an imminent exit from Parkhead for Sead Haksabanovic before the end of the transfer window.

There have been rumours that the player has been told to find a new club before the window shuts.

The last time he started a match was in April, and with Luis Palma, someone who plays in the same position as Haksabanovic, coming through the door soon, it is clear to see why he is frustrated. There are ways to show it, though, and whether or not this is the correct way remains to be seen.

  1. Should be doing his talking on the park.
He had several starts under Ange but did nothing to prove he was worth a regular start. Was a handy option as an impact player off the bench but did nothing again yesterday. No great loss.
