The meeting to end the season will take place at 10am this morning it has been revealed as the board get set to declare Celtic champions of the 19/20 season. RecordSport have reported the meeting will start in the morning and closing the season is the only thing on the agenda.
The bhoys have been far and away the best team in the league and their large points gap at the top of the table makes the decision to crown them champions an easy one.
It’s unfortunate the final eight games can’t be played but under the circumstances it just isn’t possible.
The thirty games which have already been played and settled should count more than the eight games which haven’t.
Neil Lennon took his team after the winter break and had them flying. But people forget, they were flying long before then. They’ve only dropped ten points all season!
Once the formalities have been sorted, the club and league will announce nine in a row. This is a momentous day in the history of Celtic football club. They will match a record set by Jock Stein and his team. Outstanding.
