Celtic are pursuing the signature of South Korean striker Cho Gue-sung and it is being reported that the Hoops are willing to insert a sell-on clause into his contract if he joins the Scottish champions.
The 24-year-old is a player who Ange Postecoglou has been tracking for a while but his profile came to prominence when he represented his national team at the World Cup in Qatar.
He has been attracting interest from a number of clubs including Bundesliga side Mainz who appear to have been priced out a deal to sign the striker as Celtic currently look in a strong position to complete the deal.
It was reported that Hoops representatives held talks in London with officials from K-League side Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors on Tuesday but it is unknown if there was anything agreed.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that both Celtic and Minnesota United are willing to include sell-on clauses in any deal reach for Gue-sung as the Parkhead club are willing to currently pay €3 million with a 50% sell-on clause up to €6 million while the MLS side have offered €5 million up front along with a 30% sell-on fee for any future sale.
There is a desire on Gue-sung’s part to play in European football but these talks could still rumble on for a while yet.
