It’s being reported Scott Brown is under the SFA spotlight for a flashpoint during the Kilmarnock game on Tuesday.

The Celtic captain is being accused of elbowing Aaron Tshibola intentionally during the 4-0 win at Rugby Park.

The footage shows Scott Brown, with his eye on the ball, he looks to be anticipating Tshibola coming beside him and it appears if Brown attempts to block him off, however, the Celtic captain hasn’t seen where the player is and has caught him.

There looks to be nothing malicious in it, but because Alfredo Morelos stamped on someone and got a three-match ban [retrospectively, after scoring the winner in the same game] Brown’s footage is being examined.

SunSport reports a panel of refs will decide if the Hoops midfielder has a case to answer.

If common sense prevails, this will surely be passed off for what it was.

Scott Brown came back into the side after a suspension he rightfully got during the Livingston game. The Parkhead player had a good putting, getting on the score sheet and driving the team on. Looking galvanised after a prolonged period out of the side.
