Shaun Maloney has ditched training Lukaku and De Bruyne with Belgium to put Ryan Porteous and Lewis Stevenson through their paces as the former Celtic star is confirmed as the new Hibernian boss.

Shaun started his coaching career with Celtic before being picked up by his former Wigan boss Roberto Martinez. Shaun has been receiving a football education at a high level and is now looking to go it alone with the Edinburgh club.

Celtic fans have a lot of time for Maloney, the player came through the ranks at the Celtic academy to become a first team player. He had two spells at Celtic during his career as a player and a short stint as a youth coach.

Shaun now becomes our rival and he’ll be tasked with trying to take points off of Celtic this rest of the season. Hibernian will still be smarting after their cup final defeat on Sunday at the hands of Celtic. It’s up to the new manager to pick the team up and get them going.
