SCOTT SINCLAIR scored the only goal of the game as Celtic got a vital three points against Rosenborg in the Europa League.

The Englishman headed home from close range after James Forrest did all the hard work and Sinclair has admitted he ‘couldn’t miss’ because Forrest’s delivery was so good.

“It was an unbelievable cross. Jamesy has been exceptional, he put it straight onto my head and I couldn’t miss really.” told BT Sports.

“We created chances and we should have scored more goals, but we’ll take the 1-0.

“It’s great that we have kept performing, kept creating chances, and thankfully one has gone in.”

Celtic are sitting on nine points in group B and only need one point from their final game against Salzburg to make it to the next round of the competition.

It has been a superb effort by the bhoys who lost matchday 2 and 3 before winning against Leipzig and Rosenborg.

Celtic’s destiny is in their own hands, they will want to make sure of the points by winning against Salzburg at home but a draw would suffice.

Salzburg has run away with the group, qualifying already. They may now rest vital players at Celtic Park in two weeks time.
