Sky Sports Scotland cameras were in Celtic Park this morning as the bhoys trained inside the ground ahead of their trip to Germany.

It’s a normal occurrence for Celtic to train in the stadium then make the short trip to Glasgow airport.

Unfortunately, Sky Sports has noted Cameron Carter-Vickers is NOT in training ahead of the flight to Germany.

The defender has been out injured for a number of weeks. Ange Postecoglou told CeltsAreHere on Friday they were monitoring CCV on a daily basis to see when he was ready to go. By the looks of things he will miss the flight to Germany.

Carl Starfelt is not anywhere near fit at this moment in time, meaning the club will have to go into an away Champions League tie with two of their backup centre-backs. Stephen Welsh and Moritz Jenz will no doubt start the game in Germany and will be tasked with keeping out a Leipzig team who were free scoring at the weekend.

Playing away from home in the Champions League is always daunting, however, doing it without our key players feels even more daunting.

Hopefully Ange can get the best out of the players available.
