TOM ROGIC looks set to play against Palestine in the Socceroos second group match of the Asian Cup.

The Celtic midfielder suffered a broken bone in his hand during the 1-0 defeat to Jordan on Sunday. However, according to Australian Fox Sport, the Celtic star completed a full training session with his hand strapped up.

This means Tom looks set to shake off the injury and help his country out in the must-win game.

Tom has been with the Australian squad since flying out after the boxing day game against Aberdeen where the club won 4-3 in a pulsating encounter.

The midfielder was not allowed to play at Ibrox at the Socceroos request, and then Rogic didn’t play in his countries friendly against Oman at Celtic’s request due to a slight knee injury.

Celtic fans love Tom Rogic and know how big a player he is for the club. For many, they are hoping for a quick Australia exit from the competition so Tom can head back to Celtic as soon as possible. The Asian Cup runs right through till February, and the longer Australia stay in the tournament, the more games Rogic will miss for Celtic.
