There have been rumours circulating over the past 24 hours of a possible game postponement over bad weather. But with the latest announcement from the SPFL Twitter account fans can switch their nerves back to just worrying about a result.
🏟🏆 Good morning from Hampden! The pitch is in great condition for the #BetfredCup final despite the overnight rain. No inspection required. Enjoy your day if you are coming along! pic.twitter.com/Xh32pqS3TT

The Daily Record said the game been called off with being a farce, a bit harsh when it looks like the original rumour of a pitch inspection came from someone messing about on Twitter.
As if fans don’t have enough to be worrying about with a derby cup final. Celtic have won the last nine domestic trophies that lead them to an unprecedented Treble Treble last season. Now the Bhoys are looking to lift trophy number ten at the expense of their city rivals who have yet to win a major trophy.
A decent pitch today will play right into Celtic’s hands, Neil Lennon has his team playing some slick attacking football and a good surface is a massive boost for his team today.
