Kwon made his Scottish football debut six months after he moved to Celtic, only it was for his new loan club St Mirren.

The South Korean midfielder joined Celtic and was immediately put into the background by manager Brendan Rodgers. The player has yet to play a competitive minute of football for the Hoops but he now has ninety minutes under his belt for the Buddies.

Kwon was out straight into the St Mirren starting XI by Stephen Robinson and he didn’t disappoint!

These St Mirren fans who watched the win against Queen of the South were gushing in their praise for the Celtic player.

It’s only one game against lower league opposition, however, nobody would have been surprised if people had said Kwon looked a bit rusty. Instead, he’s come out the clocks firing like he has something to prove.

It will be interesting to see how his season unfolds.
