CELTIC brushed aside Motherwell to extend their lead in the Scottish Premiership to four points, pilling on the pressure on the Ibrox club who are involved in the late afternoon fixture.

Goals from Abada, Maeda and two from Rogic seen the Hoops leave Fir Park with all three points.

In previous games, Celtic have struggled to perform in the second half. However, today the Bhoys were unstoppable. The high pressing and attacking football lasted for the whole ninety minutes.

This, of course, was aided by the options on the bench. As players return from injury and international duty, Postecoglou’s super squad is beginning to show. Since the summer, the manager has gutted the squad and added players that suit the Greek’s style.

It’s crazy to think that Ange has only had two transfer windows but still has a squad with his system shinning through.

It was a great performance from the hoops today. Many doubted Celtic would be able to push on after their Glasgow Derby win.

Postecoglou’s men will now prepare for another tough away game, travelling to Aberdeen midweek.
