Christopher Jullien has shared a video of the moment his Celtic injury hell came to an end. The Frenchman was given a rapturous applause by those in attendance at the Scottish Cup game on Sunday.

It wasn’t a full house by any stretch if the imagination but the supporters knew how big a moment it was and the crowd were on their feet to welcome the defender back.

The last time Chris Jullien played, we were in the middle of a lockdown season of football with no supporters, Neil Lennon was the manager and most of our star players wanted to leave the club.

As he returned to the pitch, Celtic have already reclaimed the League Cup trophy, have made it to the top of the league and have a very new squad full of hungry players.

Chris was pivotal to Neil Lennon’s success early on and he could prove to be just as valuable for Ange in the coming months.

Hopefully the run out at Raith Rovers is a sign the manager will begin to use the defender more.

CCV and Starfelt have been doing their thing and won’t easily be dislodged but with so many games on the horizon, there’s surely space for the big man.
