Celtic comfortably defeated Kilmarnock 20 at Celtic Park on Saturday night, though the scoreline could have been far greater had it not been for the Kilmarnock goalkeeper and the woodwork.

It took The Hoops over forty minutes to break Kilmarnock‘s stubborn defensive setup, but there was never any real danger of them not emerging victorious.

The only moment that had Celtic fans worried was when Cameron CarterVickers took a hard knock whilst trying to clear the ball. He quickly fell to the ground and the referee signalled for the Celtic bench to enter the field.

Fans anxiously waited as the defender received treatment, but thankfully he was able to get to his feet and change his jersey due to it being covered in blood.

The importance of CCV to the side meant that supporters were concerned the centreback had sustained an injury which would keep him out for a period of time.

Fortunately, the big man was able to shake it off and finish the game, and is already making a strong case to be named Celtic‘s Player of the Season.
