As Celtic continues its quest to strengthen its squad, several fringe players appear poised for exits, among them Sead Haksabanovic.

The Montenegrin winger, who can play the number 10 role, has yet to start a game under Brendan Rodgers, hinted at his dissatisfaction with a cryptic social media message: “If they don’t see your value, maybe you’re not at the right place.” At 24, Haksabanovic is seeking regular playing time and could be let go for the right offer.

Benji Siegrist, the club’s third-choice goalkeeper, is another candidate for departure. Additionally, Rodgers has stated that midfielder James McCarthy is free to find a new club. Ismaila Soro and Albian Ajeti, still officially with Celtic, could either move on or negotiate pay-offs as they are currently not in Rodgers’ plans for the team, say SunSport.

Young talent Rocco Vata is also likely to exit before Friday’s transfer deadline, with Verona reportedly at the forefront of potential destinations.

As the transfer window draws to a close, it’s clear that Rodgers is looking to streamline his squad, making way for new additions more aligned with his vision for the club.
