Celtic had a subdued first half without ever looking threatened themselves but the second half, the real Celtic showed up.

The bhoys won 2-0 but it could have been 6! Something clicked and the confidence came back in abundance. The team started knocking the ball about with freedom, Turnbull’s set pieces were always a danger and we kept going.

A clean sheet is a big deal right now and Hazard earned it by showing great reactions when Celtic were winning by 2.

There were protests against the board today before the game, but one thing which would have given the club a lift today was the crowd outside.

When the team bus rolled in, the protest was halted and the fans in attendance went over to cheer the bhoys into the pitch.

It was great to see and it would have certainly let the team know we’re right behind them.

The emergence of fringe players who look like they’re ready to be first-team stars is a major plus.
