Celtic Women gave their outside chance of winning the title a massive shot in the arm on Sunday when they put 10 goals past Forfar Farmington.

The goal difference between first and second was huge before kick-off, once the Hoops got their first goal, they never looked back.

The thumping win put them at the top of the league for a couple of hours before Glasgow City won their game 6-2 against Spartans.

So here is the state of play going into next Sunday’s final round of fixtures.

City are three points ahead and three goals better off than second place Celtic. The Hoops travel to Motherwell while City play Rangers Women at home. Outside Celtic, Glasgow’s biggest challenge is Rangers women who could do the Hoops an almighty favour.

If Rangers women pull off a victory, Celtic ghirls would need to win by three goals to become champions of Scotland.

It’s not in our hands but to take it to the final day on our first season as a full time outfit is incredible.

Fran and the ghirls can at least wrap up a Champions League spot with a win against Motherwell.

All games will kick off at 16:10 on Sunday, exciting times.
