Toulouse President Damien Comolli has responded to the future of Celtic striker Vakoun Bayo stating that the Ligue 2 side are ready to sign the Ivorian again.
As translated by @Celtic_FR on Twitter, Comolli was speaking after the appointment of their new manager Philippe Montanier and stated that his side is ready to sign Bayo again, whether that be on a permanent or loan deal.
? The Toulouse president speaking about #Bayo : ”The ball is in his court, I await his response. But he's a player we would like to have in the squad. The option to buy was too important for us. We are ready to sign him again but I do not know if it will be a loan or a transfer”

The 24-year old striker spent last season on loan with Toulouse as they lost out in the play-offs in the hunt for a return to Ligue 1 this season.
After a disappointing start to life there, at the beginning of 2021, Bayo’s career kicked on their becoming more of a regular in the side in either the starting 11 or coming off the bench.
In 36 total appearances, the frontman scored 13 goals and assisted four.
Many fans called for Bayo to be given a second chance in the side going into next season under new manager Ange Postecoglou.
At this stage, it doesn’t seem likely we will see Bayo’s future in Glasgow going forward.
