This week we have seen two Celtic players leave the club on a permanent basis.

Eboue Kouassi got his permanent move to Genk and Calvin Miller will be leaving after his contract came to an end.

Two players who didn’t have a future at the club or much of a say in our success over the past four seasons. It’s unlikely the exits will stop there and as we speak the clock is ticking down on another Celtic player’s contract.

Craig Gordon has been free to talk to clubs since January but has kept quiet about any potential move to this point. However, after the treble treble winning goalkeeper lost his place as Celtic’s number one it looks increasingly likely the goalkeeper will leave next month when his deal is up.

This was a guy who came back from a career ending injury to be the focal point of an incredible run of trophy wins for the bhoys. He was the main man during the invincible season and made a believer out of Brendan Rodgers when the Irishman brought in Dorus DeVries to replace him.

It’s going to be sad to see Craig go, but as he reaches the end of career there’s no way this man will want to be sitting on the bench winding down his career. He is expected to head for the Parkhead exit.
