UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin has made it clear NO leagues will be prematurely ended before all avenues are exhausted.

There has been rumours the titles in different countries could be settled as they are right now.

However, UEFA made it clear yesterday they want to give every opportunity for the games to be played before the end of June. Whether that’s a sustainable position as the days and weeks progress is another conversation.

Ceferin slammed the fake news culture for claiming leagues would be put to bed before their time.

“I’ve seen and heard some again fake news that UEFA will advise leagues to finish the championships now and decide that the winners are the ones who are number one now” Ceferin told RecordSport.

“I can say that it’s not true. Our goal is to finish the leagues and we didn’t recommend anything like that to any association or league.”

Contrary to some people in Scotland, Celtic want these games to go ahead when circumstances dictate they can. Celtic want to play football.

However, if the clock works against us, disregarding 30 games played because of eight games not played is not a valid position for the null and void committee who have their own agenda.

UEFA want winners and losers so they can make the arrangements for next seasons Euro competition.

  1. UEFA are spot on , no way would it be sporting in any football league to finish early , only newco dignity fc would benefit by possibly finishing 2nd to the 8 3/4 IAR …hoops , as Motherwell would quite correctly object to the NEWCO 2012 assuming finishing ahead of them and the dons “
