CELTIC weren’t at their best at Pittodrie on Sunday but what a three points they managed to conjure up in the second half against the home side.

The bhoys took the lead early with many thinking they[‘d kick on and continue their scintillating free-scoring form but credit to Aberdeen who came into the game and grabbed an equaliser.

It was a frustrating watch for the support as Celtic launched aimless long balls up the field with nothing really coming from them. It would be a clever backheel from Edouard who would create a massive opening for Celtic which would see Callum McGrgegor carry the ball up the field, pass to Forrest who waited for the perfect time to slip in unlikely hero Kristofer Ajer who scored the winner with a striker’s finish!

It was the goal Celtic needed and after that, they shut up shop. Edouard should have made it 3-1 to calm our nerves for the last four or five minutes but the striker missed from point blank range.

Three points and for the moment, thirteen points clear. However, assuming The Rangers win their games in hand, it will be a seven point lead.

  1. I know the pundits don’t want to deride their fellow pro’s, but Aberdeen were sh1t today. All those balls into the box and only one result, a single goal. What a total bunch of failures McInnes presides over. McGinn great crosser, but what’s the final scoore? Cosgrove late sub, useless. Thank goodness we never went for McKenna, what a waste of space. The other forward Main, too busy fouling people and not enough effort getting into spaces.
As for DALLAS, another chance to frustrate Celtic, by allowing Aberdeen all the 50/50 decisions and ignore when Celtic are fouled. I thought the referee was a NEUTRAL. Dallas was never that today. McLennan took a dive inside the box in a desperate attempt to con a penalty out of Dallas. Just for a second I thought that Dallas might give it. Typical of Aberdeen, dive for anything.
My only concern on Celtic was big Forster. When he was at Celtic first time, I critisised his lack of control in his 6-yard box. Again today he fluffed his lines and could have lost a goal, due to his error! The Wall has to do better.

  2. That right there is the reason we are champions treble holders x3 and at the top by 13 points although they have 2 games in hand but I’d much rather have the points on the board already won 1 Cup and in the last 8 of the Scottish Cup again this season nobody has really mentioned another treble don’t know if it really isn’t expected this season or we’re all concentrating that much on the league and 9 in a row but we are in touching distance of another huge season and another treble can’t see any team do that again it’s special and in years to come this team can be will be and defo should be spoke about in the same breath as the great Lisbon lions team Mon the hoops hail hail
