Celtic this afternoon provided an update on ticketing for fans wishing to attend the upcoming Glasgow derby.
Indeed, the club announced at around quarter to one that a limited number of briefs for the match went on sale to Season Ticket Holders who were allowed to purchase one each. They were priced at £54.
Just over 20 minutes later, though, they were sold out and now no more are available.
As was expected to be the case, tickets for the match are like gold dust.
It could be a season-defining derby but there is still one round of fixtures before it. This weekend, the Hoops host Hearts in another crucial game of the run-in.
As well as needing a win to maintain their lead at the top of the table, the Bhoys will want to prove a point because the last two times they have faced the Jambos, they have been beaten 2-0.
Brendan Rodgers, however, won’t want to make it an emotional game; rather, the gaffer will want a professional performance from his side in what is set to be another tense afternoon.
