This is a quick moving story since the news of Scotland’s move to get travellers from Dubai to retrospectively isolate.
The government want anyone flying back from Dubai since January 2 to isolate for ten days.
However, Sky News man James Matthews is reporting the club isn’t out of the woods yet and they should no by midday whether they can field a team for Monday evening against Hibernian.
Scottish Govt spokesperson: No decision yet on whether Celtic in clear under ‘elite sports’ qualification. Celtic being spoken to by officials from Scot Govt & NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. Info will be fed back to Ministers who will make decision-possibly lunchtime tmrw @SkyNews https://t.co/tKsSsPfwgi

There’s no room for rescheduled fixtures and if the unthinkable was to happen, an Aston Villa type situation where they play under 18s could come to fruition.
Fingers crossed we don’t have to do that but it’s yet another reason why this trip to Dubai was idiotic and whoever thought it was a good idea should be held accountable.
