KARAMOKO DEMBELE grabbed his first senior goal for the club on Wednesday evening when David Turnbull played the perfectly weighted pass through to the winger who slotted the ball home with ease.

It was such a well taken goal and if we could get Karamoko on a new deal, Turnbull to Karamoko could be a regular sight for Celtic fans in the future.

There’s no doubt the lad has talent but his development has not been ideal given the circumstances during the pandemic and the reserve situation in general.

There’s still ambiguity surrounding Karamoko’s contract. Some believe it runs out this season but others have reported the lad still has a year to run for the Hoops.

If a new manager comes in and can work with Dembele, it could be the making of the winger.

He certainly needs game time to progress. Fingers crossed we can still get something out of him.

  1. Why Strachan, or anyone else for that matter, should decide to undermine this outstanding finish I don’t understand.
He took the ball like a seasoned pro, beat the oncoming defender and slotted it past the keeper from the tightest of angles.
I truly can’t see how any player could have done better.
    Strachan stated a ‘tired St’s’!
Yeah, because, that’s been our strong point all season, taking advantage of tired teams in the second halves of games!
This is the team in line for double silverware this season!
I think Gordon, like a lot of the time, let’s his mouth run off without putting his brain into gear.

  2. Karamoto, McGregor, Soro, Forrest, Turnbull. The five in the middle. Sit them anywhere. They should also score. All they need is a Centre forward or a wee poacher to feed off them. The defence can be made. Goalie only one left. Get Forrester in. Or someone with shouting/thinking presents.
