In nearly 30-degree heat and already pouring with sweat, Alexandro Bernabei went on an incredible solo chase to retrieve a bad pass he made to Kyogo and, in doing so, managed to get the ball in the back of the net.

The little Argentinian played a very tired and wayward pass to his striker, and instead of holding up his hands and getting ready to defend, he chased down the ball, taking the Osaka defender by surprise and getting the best of the goalkeeper to give himself a tap in.

Alexandro scored the only goal of the game to give Celtic a 1-0 win, in the end, to finish off their Japanese tour on a high.

The Celtic defender knows he needs to show new manager Brendan Rodgers what he’s capable of and his relentlessness in chasing down the ball, which was more than a lost cause will give Rodgers food for thought.
