CELTIC didn’t put a light show for the fans ahead of the Rosenborg game yesterday evening but there is footage of them in full swing.

The new entertainment lights, dubbed ‘Disco lights’ by former Celtic striker Chris Sutton were initially installed to up the atmosphere on a Champions League night.

With the bhoys not making Europe’s premier competition this year, we’ve yet to see the lights be used to up the atmosphere before a game.

However, the club chose not to use them before Celtic’s 1-0 win even though it was the perfect opportunity to do so.

While fans haven’t been treated to a full light display yet, the footage of them being tested is quite impressive.

With the nights getting darker and two more European home games to go, we hope the club use these to build anticipation before kick-off because it looks quite impressive.
