Kyogo Furuhashi has signed a new deal at Celtic which will see him stay at the club until at least the summer of 2027.

The news comes as a massive boost for the Hoops, who recently lost star winger Jota to Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ittihad.

Whilst the Portuguese departed, Kyogo is going nowhere.

34 goals in 2022/23, having his services at the club for the next four years is nothing short of colossal and this piece of business from Celtic is as good as a new signing.

And after the new deal was confirmed, a compilation video was posted on Celtic’s official Twitter page of Kyogo’s top goals for the club so far.

It can be viewed below:

In a simple two-minute long video, we can clearly see how important Kyogo is to Celtic.

Whether it be in Europe, derbies or cup finals, the 28-year-old always turns up and proves why he is the best striker in Scotland.

  1. It’s brilliant news the wee man’s signed for another four years he’s unbelievable up front. Sometimes during games I just look at his movement off the ball and he’s making some really intelligent runs that our players don’t see or the pass doesn’t quite get there but his awareness is phenomenal. I guess playing alongside Iniesta helped in that respect but a lot of it is a natural instinctiveness and you can’t teach that, I used to do the same with Henrik during games and Kyogo’s game awareness is on a par with the great man he’s got a bit to go to reach Henrik’s legendary status at Celtic but he hasn’t made too bad a start as 53 goals in 84 games proves. Long may the wee man remain fit and keep banging in the goals and keep the trophies flowing into Paradise.
