Celtic striker Adam Idah ended any chance of a St Mirren fightback with a headed goal yards from the St Mirren goal, with Zach Hemming’s touch on the ball unable to stop Idah’s header.

With a Paulo Bernardo strike saved by Hemming, the ball fell to Idah in the air, who headed past the English goalkeeper.

Idah left off where he finished last weekend against Rangers at Ibrox, with his goal off the bench yet again adding Celtic’s third goal.

The Irishman has certainly found a knack for scoring goals in Scotland, despite not previously having a prolific goalscoring record at Norwich City.

Whether Celtic decide to permanently sign Idah in the summer remains to be seen, but week on week, he continues to show exactly what he could bring to Celtic next season.

His physicality, in particular, adds a different presence upfront to Kyogo Furuhashi.
