Former Celtic winger, Jota, recently sent a farewell message to the Celtic fanbase, days following his announcement as a player for El Attihad.
Jota, the treble-winning Portuguese star, recorded a heartfelt video for Celtic’s fans. In it, he attempted to encapsulate his perspective of the club and recount the exciting journey he experienced during his time there.
Known for his introspective personality, Jota clearly articulates his view of Celtic in the video. He considers himself fortunate to have had the opportunity to play for Celtic, a period during which he believes he evolved significantly both as a footballer and an individual over two years.

Jota’s departure this summer was a bitter pill for many supporters to swallow. However, retaining top players for extended periods can prove challenging in the contemporary football landscape, particularly at Celtic.
The financial incentives provided to both Celtic and Jota in this deal were too substantial for either party to resist.
