Matt O’Riley has extended Celtic’s lead, putting the Hoops 2-0 up after confidently slotting a Panenka penalty down the middle of the goal past Jack Butland.
After a VAR check for a Connor Goldson handball, Celtic were awarded a penalty, with O’Riley leaving no doubt from the spot.
Despite Celtic struggling this season to put away penalties, O’Riley’s execution was flawless.

The Danish midfielder certainly silenced Ibrox with his unbelievable composure, slotting the ball down the middle of the goal.
O’Riley has been excellent in the first half, utilising every bit of his previous experience in Glasgow derbies to his advantage.
Celtic certainly rose to the occasion with Daizen Maeda’s early goal putting the Hoops ahead just 21 seconds into the game.
