Celtic were only behind for three minutes before getting back on level terms against Yokohama. Joe Hart’s howler, thankfully, cancelled out quickly.
Daizen Maeda scored the goal on his homecoming. However, it was Reo Hatate who made the goal.
Playing at right back for Celtic while Alistair Johnston and Anthony Ralston are out injured, Reo Hatate won the ball back in Celtic’s half then unlocked the Marino’s defence with a world class pass to Liel Abada.
Reo Hatate masterclass alert 🚨
His ability and strength to break up the play and intercept. Then, his vision and distribution to unlock a defence.
He’s a joy to watch for Celtic.pic.twitter.com/uwrEyZureh

Reo did make the goal happen, but it was brilliant by Abada to get onto the pass and square the ball to an onrushing Maeda.
We’ll ignore the fact Daizen nearly skied it over the bar! We’ll call it a finesse finish!
Celtic should look to tie up Reo Hatate at all costs. The midfielder could be very influential this season. If you were to ask us when Ange left who we thought he’d attempt to come back for, Reo’s name was at the top of the list.
We need to hopefully get at least another season out of this top talent!
