Celtic are thirteen points clear at the top of the SPFL table — that seems to be lost in all the noise surrounding the SPFL.

The bhoys took a commanding lead throughout January and February to asset their title dominance.

For their rivals — it’s a case of what could have been and massive disappointment they couldn’t keep up.

Not many out of Ibrox have commented on their form during the second half of the season which has seen them trail Celtic by a large margin.

Filip Helander was gracious and honest enough to admit that his form along with his teammates has not been up to scratch.

“Confidence dropped in the team and you start overthinking things in adversity.” Helander told RecordSport.

“Of course you notice the criticism because the expectations here at Rangers is that you will always win. That’s what we play for here and I love it. When things are not going well, you have to not let it get to you.

“But we have not been good enough to handle the pressure this season.”

Celtic stuttered to the end of last year but after the break, they were a different animal and continually churned our results. The only blemish on their domestic record in 2020 being a draw with Livingston.

Everybody wants to see the teams back on the field to finish the season — we might not be able to get that, but it’s important to acknowledge Celtic’s dominance.
