The Dubai nonsense and aftermath just won’t go away, this is in no small part down to Neil Lennon deciding to put the world to rights on Monday.
Journalists up and down the country have been absolutely loving it. They have been sticking a mic in front of anyone with an opinion and asking specifically about Neil Lennon’s words.
Today, John Swinney, the Education secretary who has his own major issues and fires to put out was astonishingly asked about a football club’s press conference.
His response was very strong, branding Neil Lennon’s comments about the government as ‘absolutely appalling’, and ‘lost for words’ with what the Irishman had to say.

Celtic fans just want to get back to watching the club play football and hopefully winning. This Dubai farce and everything surrounding it have become exhausting. A problem of the club’s own making in many ways and the continuation of proceedings thanks to Neil Lennon’s comments on Monday.
Let’s move on and talk about the real things fans want to be addressed; the manager’s position, strengthening before the window closes, our immediate future and the next two to three-year plan.
Appalled were you Swinney? Well colour me surprised. Maybe you should take a closer look at your own party’s conduct throughout this. Lennon only voiced what a big number of Celtic fans think about you and your ilk.
IMHO all politicians are slimeballs and this vote chasing ass kisser is no different.
I only wish they were all at a permanent loss for words then we wouldn’t have to listen to their drivel.
Swinney the failure, looking for a wagon to jump on. Did Granny Sturgeon put you up to it? Let’s face it, you wouldnae no a problem if it bit you on the bum.
