ALBIAN AJETI will have a medical with Celtic on Wednesday ahead of a season long loan move from West Ham.
The out of favour striker only signed for West Ham last summer but was quickly put out the picture when he didn’t hit the ground running. David Moyes didn’t fancy him and now the man who scored 42 goals and assisted in 21 in just 96 appearances for Basel is coming to Glasgow.
This move is very much like the Moi deal, a player Celtic have tracked for a while but who was priced out of a move from Premier League interest.
Tonight Sky Sports man, Anthony Joseph has reported Ajeti will be in Glasgow on Wednesday.
Celtic are set to sign Albian Ajeti on a season-long loan from West Ham, after the clubs agreed a deal today. @SkySportsNews understands the deal includes an option to buy, for a fee of around £5m.Â
Ajeti is due to have his medical at Celtic on Wednesday.

Before then we could see a goalkeeper through the doors. Vasilis Barkas is on his way from Greece to complete a move from AEK Athens, the reported €5m for the stopper is a record breaking amount of transfer cash for the Greek side.
The Basel part sounds great but in England i read he could not cope with the physical demands of the English game, if true then he will never last in the Scottish game if that is the case…..
I do hope he hits the ground running and turns the rest of his new team mates on a march to 10 we still need more new faces a CH 2 MIDFIELDERS and a CF…Thank you…
