Johnston, a staple in the Canadian side, is set to continue his role on the right of a back three. The match is scheduled for an 8 pm CPT kickoff on Saturday, March 23.

Joining Johnston in the Canadian squad is Theo Bair, the Motherwell forward, who has been making waves in the Scottish Premiership with his goal-scoring abilities.

The Canadian roster for the match against Trinidad and Tobago is noteworthy for its youth, featuring the youngest squad since 2019, with 22 of the 23 players under the age of 30. This young team represents the bright future of Canadian soccer, something they have been striving for over the past few years.

Fans of both Celtic and Motherwell will be eagerly watching as these SPFL stars represent their country on the international stage.
