It was the surprise of the night when Cameron Carter-Vickers wasn’t even named in the squad for such big game against Hearts.
The defender has played every minute for Celtic since signing on deadline day for the Hoops. The American international’s absence meant Carl Starfelt came straight back into the side after injury and had a man of the match performance.
Seeing Welsh go down injured in the second half means Celtic are really thin on the ground with centre-backs.
Celtic fans will be delighted to know Cameron WILL be available for Sunday’s game against Dundee Utd after missing tonight through personal reasons.

Cameron will likely come back into the side and pair up with Carl Starfelt as the bhoys look to keep this winning run going.
We need all hands on deck if we’re to keep the pressure on at the top of the table between now and the New Year Glasgow Derby.
