ANGE POSTECOGLOU has confirmed that he’ll rotate the squad again on Saturday as the team take on Championship side Morton on Saturday.

It’s a quick turnaround for the 12.15 kick off on Saturday, especially after the hard game against Kilmarnock at the weekend past.

Speaking after the match, Postecoglou admitted he had plans to make more changes for the Scottish Cup tie at the weekend. [Celtic TV]

“Yeah, well, look at how everyone pulls up from it. Obviously, it’s a short turnaround with a Saturday game and it’s a lunchtime game as well so we’ll look at it to see who’s looking good at training, who’s feeling good.

“Certainly we’ve got some players we can definitely bring in. All the guys who came on tonight added some energy and I’m sure they’ll do that on the weekend too.“

There were a few changes on Wednesday night, with a debit handed to Kobayashi. The Japanese defender impressed, and had a great debut, keeping a clean sheet.

Iwata could see his first minutes in a Celtic shirt at the weekend, especially with it being against an opposition from a lower league than Celtic, but Postecoglou will be wary of the challenge Morton will pose, and will not allow any complacency to sneak in.

It’s the benefits of having a big squad, when that team is rotated it’s more than capable of winning the 3 points.
