CELTIC BOSS Ange Postecoglou has predicted that Kilmarnock will be more than up for the Hoops’ visit on Sunday.

The boss has reiterated his point that after the international break teams will be fighting that extra bit harder as the look to secure safety or European football heading into the split.

Killie are just one point above the relegation zone and will be looking to get as many points as they can as they look to avoid the drop. Below McInnes’ side are Ross County and Dundee United, who have some confidence after winning their last match.

Ange Postecoglou has predicted a tough challenge as he previewed the next match for the Bhoys.

Speaking on Celtic TV, he said:

“I’ve said probably after the international break, I think every game and you’ve seen not just in our games, but when we played Ross County or obviously played Rangers last week and Kilmarnock, every game has got an edge to it because every team has got something to play for.

“And you’ve seen that in the other games how tight they are and how important three points can be or even a point for that matter can be to a team.

“So I think right up until the split these next two games for us, they’re gonna have a bit of an edge to them because we’re playing teams with something to play for.

“And Kilmarnock are a tough challenge. You look at their home form, it’s pretty good. It’s up in the top half of the league in terms of results at home, so we know it’s not going to be an easy game.”

The last time the Hoops visited the ground, they left with three points after putting five past the side. The same would do on Sunday, but, no doubt, it’ll be a tougher match than the one in August.
