The manager revealed steps had been taken for players heading in both directions, with players edging closer to coming in and players closing in on securing a move out of Celtic.

Postecoglou has remained consistent over the past few days, not giving much away but revealing he hoped to get at least one more body in before the transfer window shut at the end of the month.

He’s given nothing away regarding departures, saying if there is anything serious, he’ll find out about it from the club, but until then, he’s not a part of it.

On Friday, Postecoglou admitted there has been some movement, meaning it must be serious if the boss is talking to the press about it. Speaking ahead of Celtic’s tie against Morton, Postecoglou opened up on the transfer situation Celtic are in. [Celtic TV]

“At the moment, progress on incoming and outgoings, but nothing has been confirmed yet. We’re obviously getting to the end of the window, and I expect more progress over the next few days.”
