Ange Postecoglou made a slight dig at Ibrox boss Michael Beale following Celtic’s 1-0 win over Rangers this afternoon.

The Australian spoke to the media post match, saying (Clyde 1):

“I get the narrative we’ll be lucky again but that’s alright we’ll just keep winning games of football”

Clearly, Postecoglou is making a smart remark to Beale’s and the mainstream media’s comments about Celtic being fortunate in recent derbies.

These are all greatly inaccurate claims as the Bhoys’ consistency in terms of both results and performances in Glasgow derbies have been immaculate and high.

As long as other people are believing Celtic are lucky, it is good for the Hoops as this luckiness will only continue to transpire and others will continually be proved wrong.

Going forward for the amusing Postecoglou, he will be aiming for a treble.

He is just two matches away from becoming an iconic figure in Celtic’s history and joining the likes of Jock Stein, Martin O’Neil and Brendan Rodgers as a treble-winning Hoops gaffer. What a job he is doing!
