Despite a successful stint at Celtic under Postecoglou, Jota’s move to the Middle East has not lived up to expectations, leading to speculation about his next step.

The Sun say that the Aussie boss hasn’t made up his mind on whether he’ll take the winger at Spurs, despite flourishing under his leadership in Scotland.

There’s no doubt the step up in quality from the SPFL to the EPL, but Jota showed he could perform at Europe’s highest level.

Jota’s record under Postecoglou at Celtic was impressive, with 28 goals and 26 assists in 83 matches, marking him as one of the key players during the Australian manager’s two-year tenure.

Wolves have also shown interest in the 24-year-old.

It will be interesting to see where Jota ends up in January, with it clear he’s unhappy at his current club.
