ANGE POSTECOGLOU is a proud Australian who flies the flag for his country in a big way wherever he goes. Born in Greece, Ange’s family immigrated to Australia when he was a young lad. Ever since then, football and Australia have been two passions for the Celtic manager.

It’s why, as the Celtic manager, he continues to approach rival Australian players after games to chat with them. Australian publication KeepUp have describe it as Ange ‘taking care’ of the Aussies in Scotland.

The Celtic gaffer never misses the opportunity to give some words of wisdom to players coming from the land down under. Celtic has another two Aussies in the building in Aaron Mooy and Harry Kewell, but when guys like Garang Kuol or Nathaniel Atkinson come to town, he makes sure to acknowledge them.

KeepUp put tother some of the images taken of Ange with his compatriots.

With Ange at the helm, we can’t rule out more Aussies heading to Celtic before his time at the club is done. Tom Rogic was wonderful for the Celtic manager during his debut Celtic season and now Aaron Mooy has picked up the mantle as the impressive Aussie midfielder at Celtic Park. Long may it continue.
