CELTIC made the game seem much tighter than it actually was as they beat Motherwell 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

The Hoops had many chances, with many chances squandered. Kyogo had a one on one, which he failed to capitalise on, Abada managed to miss from a couple of yards out, and Celtic hit the woodwork twice.

It was just one of those days for Celtic. They just couldn’t get the ball into the back of the net as much as they would’ve liked to. However, they still leave with three points and two goals, and Kyogo scored first again.

Postecoglou admits his side could have been more ruthless but were unlucky on a few occasions.

“(Were you happy with the performance?) To a certain part of the field. We hit the post twice so we were unlucky. But we could’ve been more ruthless and efficient in the final third – we had some chances we usually take which we didn’t today. So, along with giving them a goal it kept them in the game and made it more difficult than it should’ve been.” [Daily Record]

Celtic have been in tremendous goal scoring for this season, but struggled to put the ball in the back of the net for the bast few games.

It’s something that Ange Postecoglou will be working hard to rectify on the training ground, with eight more games to play this month.
