Brendan Rodgers is looking to loan Kundai Benyu out on loan again after his disappointing spell at Oldham last season.

The youngster signed for a Celtic last summer and spent six months in the first team squad where he made a couple of appearances.

During his loan spell he started the first few games for Oldham but quickly fell out of favour at the club, spending the rest of the time on the bench or in the stands.

Kundai returned to Celtic for pre-season training but with so much competiton in attacking midfield, Brendan Rodgers believes a loan move would be best for Kundai’s development.

There was talk last week of Hamilton taking the midfielder on-loan for the season and it would make sense to get the player acclimated to Scottish football.
