Neil Lennon has told Record Sport that he is looking for “another three or four players, at least” as the Celtic manager looks to fill some gaping holes in the Celtic squad.

The Irishman also said he is going about his transfer dealings regardless of any players been sold, and in particular, a multi-million-pound windfall if Celtic were to sell Kieran Tierney.

“I don’t know what they’ll do with it. We will work within the structure here. Obviously, it’s a huge amount of money.

“We have had discussions, but they haven’t been about Kieran leaving and what we’re going to do with the money. We’re working away already on transfers and players we want to bring in.

“Whether we sell Kieran or not, that won’t change things. It’ll help, but we are not in the process of busting the bank. “How many more? Another three or four, at least.”

Celtic face FK Sarajevo tonight at Celtic Park with the luxury of a 3-1 aggregate lead from last weeks away leg. Lennon has been unlucky so far with filling the right-back position which is probably the most crucial signing the Bhoys boss will have to make this summer.

Lennon has already splashed ten million pounds on three new players and if he does get his other four players in, Celtic can not be accused of not opening the biscuit tin in this transfer window. Most fans want an end to the Tierney saga.
