ANTHONY RALSTON has had an impressive season at Celtic. His resurgence has taken many by surprise; with his Celtic career set to be over, he was handed a year extension. His brilliant form led to Postecoglou rewarding the 23-year-old with a new long-term deal.

He’s been superb this season. He’s not the complete player like Juranovic is, I don’t think anyone believes that, but he’s a great squad player and is always putting his body on the line for his boyhood club.

Now, Ralston finds himself earning some recognition. Football Wonderkids on Twitter has provided their followers with U23 defenders in Europe with the most goal contributions, and Celtic’s academy graduate is up amongst the top players.

Also joining the Bricky is former Celtic star Jeremie Frimpong, who left Celtic for Bayer Leverkusen 18 months ago.

It states that Ralston has 12 goal contributions. However, Transfermarkt says different. The website states that the Scottish international has 14 goal contributions. It seems that the website hasn’t included Ralston’s assists from the split. If these were included, Ralston would take Owen Wijndal’s place.
