Celtic were minutes away from another draw, but if you’re a Celtic fan or someone who’s watched the club do its thing for years and years, you should know better than to count us out until the final whistle has gone.

However, Hugh Keevins on SuperScoreBoard was more than happy to begin getting digs in at the club before all was said and done.

To be fair, St Johnstone had scored so late on, Hugh would have felt more comfortable than usual pushing the story of Celtic’s capitulation.

Hugh was the first to react to the St Johnstone goal at the time and gleefully started rhyming off what was a ‘lethal cocktail’ of failings.

A Celtic fan spliced two clips together to compound Hugh’s premature Celtic synopsis. Have a listen:

We can all agree Celtic haven’t been at their best recently, but to write us off so completely is mind boggling but speaks to the way Hugh likes to go about his business. He likes a bit of hyperbole and gets fans whipped up all in the name of getting them to call in.

8th October 2022; McDiarmid Park, Perth, Scotland; Scottish premier league football, St Johnstone versus Celtic:

As we said at the top, Hugh as watched Celtic for years and should know better.

Giakoumakis saved the day for Celtic. The bhoys did deserve all three points and to lose two would have been harsh. Despite the late show, Celtic were much the better side.

There’s no implosion, I’m afraid.
