MOUSSA DEMBELE has been linked with a lot of top clubs in the past 18-months or so.

The former Celtic striker has been in high demand, but Lyon have been resolute in not selling the striker.

The Frenchman’s current Lyon deal doesn’t run out until 2023, so if Lyon want the biggest amount of cash for him, the best time to sell him would be in January or at the end of the season.

According to SunSport, Lyon are considering selling the frontman, and West Ham are very interested.

You would have to imagine Moussa isn’t overly impressed with a deal which would take him to the bottom end of the Premier League. Financially, it could be more rewarding but career-wise, it’s a big backwards step.

Moussa spent two seasons at Celtic after leaving from Fulham in the summer Brendan Rodgers took charge at the club. His time at Celtic ended badly with Brendan Rodgers painting the striker as a villain. Fast-forward to the end of that season and Moussa was back visiting on trophy day while Brendan was long gone.

Celtic will be due a sell-on fee when Moussa is sold, so it’s worth keeping an eye on.
